 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO WMU FLIGHT RELEASE  USERS:

To conform with National Headquarters standards and the proposed electronic signature process, the WMU flight release module has been changed on 7 Dec 07 to support the changes. As a result ALL flight releases must be released (the pilot can still input the information) by a designated FRO who is personally accessing the WMU flight release record. The identity of the FRO will be validated through the use of the FRO PIN number and the new requirement to enter the last 4 digits of their SSN in to the release. Telephone releases through the use of the pilot entering the FRO pin will no longer be supported.

Note: The IMU CAPF 104 will also be modified to support the PIN/SSN. To facilitate this, all IC/AL qualified personnel that are not designated as FRO's should enter a FRO PIN using the module in the FRO options This will allow the IMU to permit releases by an IC/AL per CAPR 60-1.
